Bed Bug Services

Discreet and total elimination. Inspections, then multi-stage treatment, high-heat or chemical, that reaches every life cycle stage.

Chapter 01

Signs of bed bugs and where they hide

Bites in a line or cluster on exposed skin are often the first sign, but bites alone prove nothing. The better evidence is in the bedroom: small dark spots along mattress seams, tiny shed skins, and rust colored smears on sheets. Bed bugs hide in box spring seams, behind headboards, along baseboards and in the folds of luggage, so the search has to cover more than the mattress.

At the shore the pattern repeats every summer. Rentals turn over guests every week, suitcases travel from house to house, and a single hitchhiker can start an infestation nobody notices for a month. If you are in Brick or anywhere between Point Pleasant and Long Branch and you suspect them, call or text (732) 829-3881. The conversation stays discreet, and total elimination is the goal.

Discreet inspection, then treatment in stages

Everything starts with an inspection of the bed, the furniture around it and the rest of the room, because the right treatment depends on how far the problem has spread. Brian identifies what is actually there before choosing a method. The visit is handled quietly and without fuss, so neighbors, guests and tenants do not need to know your business.

Treatment is either high-heat or chemical, chosen for the situation, and it runs in stages. One pass is rarely enough, since eggs hatch after the adults are gone. A multi-stage plan reaches every life cycle stage, which is what total elimination means in practice: eggs, nymphs and adults, not just the ones that happen to be visible on the day of the visit.

Chapter 03

Prep, the follow up visit, and keeping them out

Preparation helps the treatment work. Launder bedding and clothing on a hot cycle, clear clutter from around the bed, and pull furniture away from the wall so every seam can be reached. You get clear instructions for your own room before the visit, and nothing needs to be thrown out unless the inspection says it does. Careful prep shortens the whole job.

A follow-up visit confirms the work took, and a detailed digital report arrives after every visit. After travel, keep luggage off the bed and check the seams in hotel rooms and rentals before you unpack. If the pests return, so do we. My Favorite Pest Control is licensed and insured: NJ Bus.
