Yards, fence lines, standing water
Mosquitoes, Ticks, and Fleas
Reclaim your outdoor living spaces. Seasonal yard sprays aimed at the breeding grounds, so a summer evening outside doesn't come with Lyme or West Nile worries.
Chapter 01
Where mosquitoes breed and ticks wait on a shore lot
Mosquitoes need very little water. A clogged gutter, a stack of buckets, a boat cover that sags in the middle, a low spot in the lawn that stays wet after rain: any of them can raise a batch. Around the lagoons and bays near Brick the water table sits close to the surface, so yards stay damp longer than the forecast suggests and the mosquitoes keep coming after the rain stops.
Ticks live somewhere else entirely. They wait in long grass, in leaf litter banked against a fence, and in shaded borders where the lawn gives way to brush. Fleas ride in on the dog. Nobody wants to think about Lyme disease or West Nile on a summer evening, and that worry is why people quietly stop using the back yard. The first job is finding where the trouble actually lives.

Seasonal yard sprays aimed at the breeding grounds
The inspection walks the whole yard, not just the patio. Brian looks at the fence lines, the shrub borders, the shaded corners under trees and anywhere water collects, then identifies what is breeding and where the adults rest. Treatment follows the findings. Seasonal yard sprays go on the breeding grounds and the shelter spots, rather than a blanket coat across the open lawn.
Family and pet-friendly treatment options are part of how My Favorite Pest Control works, so ask about them when you call (732) 829-3881. The goal is to reclaim your outdoor living spaces: the deck, the fire pit, the stretch of grass where the kids play. Treatments run through the season, timed to when mosquitoes and ticks are most active, instead of one application in June and a hope for the best.
Chapter 03
Keeping the yard usable after the truck leaves
Spraying works best alongside a few habits at home. Dump standing water weekly, clear the gutters, flip buckets and kiddie pools, and keep the grass mowed along the edges where it meets the fence or the woods. Rake leaf litter away from the house and the play area. Those small chores remove places mosquitoes breed and ticks wait, and they help each treatment last longer.
After yard time, check yourselves and the dog for ticks, especially behind the knees, along the hairline and under collars. Scheduled follow-up visits are built into the four step process, and you get a detailed digital report after every visit. If the pests return, so do we. Licensed and insured, NJ Bus.
